it's only the beginning... Posted by Hello

Today's Soundtrack: stay where you are, on the edge of your starry eyed rage

Hola bloggers! In an attempt to get back into writing, I decided to start up this lil' space. As you can see, there will be pictures. I'm no superstar photographer, but I do enjoy capturing interesting takes in film, or in this case, megapixels.

So in a couple of hours 2004 will end. I've got too many things to be thankful for, and a handful of misses I'd rather forget. I feel like this year went by the fastest though. Maybe it's because I'm older now, and everything's moving in lightning speed. Before you know it, it'll be summer time and I would've made it past 25. Life after 25...I'm shaking my head while I'm thinking about this!

Well, it's past 3am and I'm running out of thoughts. I should get some sleep. Big Turkey day tomorrow, I get to stuff 4 boxes of stuffing inside the bird. I'm already dreading all that work. Thank goodness I've got the Friends and Alias DVDs to watch while I slave over the ingredients!

Hello old friend. (Old is NOT emphasized) ;) Keep writing, you and I have not always seen eye to eye, but I'm glad to have gotten in touch with you again. Hope 2005 is good to you, hope this blog isn't just a one night fling. Good luck "stuffing the bird" tomorrow. Dirty...

Turkey for New Year's? That is new for me. Unfortunately, I did not have turkey for both Christmas and Thanksgiving 2004. That is too much roadkill for a single guy to prepare.

I hope we (the human "race") have a safe and prosperous new year. 2005 will be what we make it. I plan to make it one to remember.

I will not forget those less fortunate. To the close to 200,000 victims of the tsunami, the uncounted civilian victims in Iraq, the hundreds of thousands of Africans living under opressive regimes, and all others suffering world wide, I shall continue to pray for their happiness.

I hope 2005 is the year in which we all learn to put aside our religious, ethnic, "racial", and cultural differences aside and enjoy being human beings.

Diversity is the strength of the world. I enjoy learning about "different" peoples and customs. That is the very best thing about the city of Toronto, Home to the World.
